We are looking for a *Offset Printing Press Operator *to join our company. He or she will work in our high-volume, high-speed, Offset and Digital print environment. *Job Summary:* The Offset PrintingPress Operator is responsible for producing all offset press projects in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures. Coordinates workload schedule to meet customer time frame requirements while achieving optimum productivity. *Responsibilities* * Operate the offset presses in accordance with equipment operating procedures. * Interface with the Production Coordinators and/or Prepress Department to ensure a complete understanding of the order. * Perform all offset press operator functions as noted on the work order. * Responsible for operating, adjusting (ink and water level) and running the offset press. * Remove and clean plates and cylinder at end of press run. * Responsible for troubleshooting any press-related issues and to conduct setups. * Monitor for quality issues, and/or errors found during the printing process. * Handle inks to produce jobs. * Assist with routine operational maintenance and repairs. * Conduct preventive maintenance on assigned offset press. * Operate any other equipment as needed to complete the work order. *Qualifications:* * Previous experience in operating an offset printing press. * Previous print knowledge/experience. * Minimum of 3 years experience in high speed offset printing operations. * Strong interpersonal skills e.g. working well with others, communication, positive attitude. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Good mathematical skills. * Good understanding of offset functions and bindery processes. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * Offset Printing Press Operations: 3 years (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-18- LocationLondon, ON
