Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Dig ground to expose gas lines. Keep record of work performed and location and condition of equipment. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Check, lubricate, refuel and clean equipment. Operate various vehicles and equipment. Report any malfunctions to supervisor. Conduct routine survey of gas mains and distribution lines. Provide information on underground gas distribution lines. Observe excavation work to ensure that underground facilities are protected. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Truck or equipment experience: Sewer jet or flusher truck. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Ability to distinguish between colours. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Team player. Accurate. Client focus. Dependability. Reliability. Resourcefulness. Experience: Experience an asset.
