*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail, with the ability to motivate and develop team members while maintaining a positive shopping environment. *Duties* * Assist in managing store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays. * Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of performance. * Conduct training and development programs for new hires and existing staff to enhance their skills. * Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures. * Monitor payroll processes to ensure compliance with company policies. * Collaborate with the Store Manager on staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee relations. * Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment for customers and employees. *Requirements* * Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role. * Strong math skills for handling transactions and analyzing sales data. * Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences. * Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with diverse customers. * Experience in training development to foster employee growth is preferred. * Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and resolve conflicts. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
