*Overview* We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle freight efficiently. *Duties* * Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. * Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. * Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including pickup and drop-off times, mileage, and any issues encountered. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. * Assist in the training of new drivers as needed. *Experience* * Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory. * Familiarity with freight handling techniques is a plus. * Skills in automotive repair or maintenance can be beneficial for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road. * Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is advantageous for loading and unloading tasks. * A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
