Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dusty. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Type of trucking and equipment: Dump truck. Security and safety: Bondable. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Personal suitability: Organized. Reliability. Team player. Hardworking. Experience: Experience an asset.
