*JBT Group of Companies* is seeking a Junior Accountant *Primary Objective - *We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. *Key Responsibilities: * · Accounts Payable-posting and paying invoices, responding to payment requests and inquires · Accounts Receivable-collections, cash receipts, investigate discrepancies · Investigate all bad debts & participate in decision to pursue payment or write off · Set up credit procedure, do credit checks, new customers in trucking software · Cash receipts as required · Assist with bank reconciliation · Work closely with accountant · Provide backup support to driver payroll · Other duties as assigned *Requirements:* · Accounting knowledge · Accounts Payable experience · Accounts Receivable experience · Ability to multi-task · Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize · Time management skills · Ability to work under pressure · Knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, Word · Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills · Excellent problem-solving skills *Desirable:* ?
