*Registered Social Worker* *Be a part of changing someone?s story?* Rehab First is one of Ontario`s largest multidisciplinary assessment and treatment organizations, numbering approximately 120 professional staff who are supported by our MED_Net_® roster, and administrative team. We are currently seeking experienced Social Workers (MSW) to support our growing client base*.* The successful candidates will reside in one of the following areas and be able to travel within the community to provide treatment services: - Toronto - Mississauga - Durham (i.e., Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa and surrounding areas) *Key Qualifications:* * Master?s degree (MSW) * Current registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers * Experience in a health care setting, and ideally in the community * Familiarity with relevant legislation (e.g. Health Care Consent Act, Mental Health Act, etc.) * Superior communication, problem-solving, time management, and documentation skills * Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to manage a busy and varied caseload * Valid Driver?s License and auto insurance and access to a reliable vehicle * Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months *Key Responsibilities:* * Psycho-social Assessments * Selective assignment of Case Management responsibilities * Development of OCF-18 plans under Ontario?s Statutory Accident Benefit regulations * Provision of counselling services in a variety of settings (e.g. in person, via telephone, cyber counselling * Extensive documentation and report writing * Ongoing collaboration with other medical and rehabilitation professionals * Opportunity to work with adults and children * Individual, couple and family counselling * Career and vocational counselling and assessments *Based on the total compensation package you chose, Rehab First will provide you with:* * Competitive compensation & for those who qualify a benefits package * Flexible Schedule and opportunity to work from home office (computer and supplies provided) * Experienced, committed, and accessible management for ongoing support and mentorship * An administrative team ready to support you If you are excited to be a part of the vision of the Rehab First team and our clients? successes, please forward your resume and cover letter to *recruitment@rehabfirst.ca* We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those candidates chosen for an interview will be contacted.
