Zone: Eastern Rural Zone Location: Bonavista Peninsula Health Centre and Golden Heights Manor Nursing Home Registered Nurse I- Float Acute Care and Long Term CareRegional Medicine Program Permanent Full-time FLT04519 Hours 75 bi-weekly (12 hours, Shift Work; Nights, Weekends) Salary NS-28 ($38.62 - $48.10 per hour) Competition Number VAC0002943 Posted Date 2024-10-28 Closing Date Open until filled Demands, duties, qualifications Job Summary This position is a Float position which may work in all clinical areas of the Bonavista sites including the Emergency Department, Outpatient Department, Medicine Unit, Golden Heights Manor (Long Term Care) as well as Dialysis. Dialysis training will be provided. Job Demands By applying for this job, you acknowledge an understanding that regular requirements and demands of this job include (but are not limited to): Constantly moves/lifts up to 10 lbs., regularly moves/lifts up to 25 lbs. and occasionally is required to restrain/reposition/move/ lift up to 30 lbs. Pushes/pulls up to medium force. Constantly stands/walks and works in awkward or cramped positions to assist with procedures. Constantly uses fine finger/precision, auditory, sensory and visual concentration to provide and conduct risk assessments, observe/monitor patients, to complete documents, follow directions, administer medications, etc. May be subject to time pressures/deadlines and subject to lack of control over work pace. Job Qualifications Graduation from an approved/recognized school of nursing program is required. A current practicing license with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CRNNL) is required. Current BLS for Health Care Providers Certification is required.
