*Overview* Willowbrook Chrysler is the #1 Chrysler Dealership in Western Canada! We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join our accounting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial management. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software to maintain the integrity of financial records and contribute to strategic decision-making. Underneath the umbrella of Willowbrook Motors, the controller will also be responsible for oversight and management of financials for 3 sub-companies. *Responsibilities* * Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and account reconciliation. * Prepare monthly financial statements and reports to provide insights into the organization's financial performance. * Oversee budgeting processes and ensure adherence to financial plans. * Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. * Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. * Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. * Utilize accounting software for effective financial management. * Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. *Requirements* * Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required. * Proven experience as a Controller is required. * Dealership experience is required. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including budgeting and account analysis. * Proficiency in accounting software is essential. * Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. * Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. * Previous experience with PBS Dealer Management Systems is an asset.
