Position SummaryCrosby Foods Limited is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Red Seal Industrial Mechanic to join our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a food manufacturing environment or similar.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs where necessary.Demonstrate problem solving skills.Conduct and lead root cause analysis, implement corrective actions to improve reliability, reduce maintenance costs and increase production uptime.Contribute to the continuous improvement culture by identifying and implementing innovative solutions.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.Participate and support in maintenance projects.Provide guidance to junior maintenance team members and operations.Qualifications10-15 years of experience in an industrial mechanic role within a manufacturing environment, preferably food processing.Valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) ticket.Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with excellent troubleshooting skills.Proven track record in safety and compliance with industry standards.Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality systems.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.Flexibility to work on day, night, and some weekend shifts.Strong and effective communication skills.Desired SkillsExperience with OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) metrics and continuous improvement.Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Collaborative and supportive work environment.- LocationSaint John, NB
