The candidate must be able to plan adequately, contribute to company growth, follow directions and be open to new ideas. This position is required to work outside most of the time building and/or moving billboards and other signs, installing decals and other graphics and *occasionally other shop work in slow periods.* You would be expected to work up to 30 hours per week from 8:00am - 4:30pm between Monday-Friday. Scheduled set days of the week will be discussed during the hiring process. This position will be based out of the Country Boyz Industries' shop located just 15 minutes SE of Calgary, AB. You will be required to start your day at the shop every morning. The Sign Installation Specialist will mainly be responsible for building and installing signs and other graphics. *Prior experience in the printing industry is a BIG asset. However, both experienced and non-experienced candidates are welcome.* *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Reading and understanding work orders * Keeping track of work orders and filling out other required paperwork * Adequate installation of outdoor signage and vinyl graphics * Pick-up and delivery of signs and materials from clients and vendors * Maintaining a clean and safe shop environment *Requirements:* * Minimum 1 year experience in a construction trade (preferably carpentry, framing or other woodworking trade) * Some experience with driving truck and trailer (Not required, but very much preferred!) * Class 5 drivers license with Air brake * Drivers abstract * Criminal record check * Canadian citizen or eligible to work in Canada * Basic tool set (impact driver, tape measure, drill, etc.) and understanding of how to use correctly * Quick on your feet. Drive to finish all jobs! *Preferred Certifications (will give priority to those with these certifications already):* * Fall Arrest Protection * Aerial Lift Training * Construction Safety (CSTS) * Crane Safety Training * WHMIS * First Aid *Desired Skills:* * Mechanical (small engines, bearings, basic maintenance) * Electrical (basic troubleshooting of 12V and 120V systems) * Proficient in the use of power tools (skill saw, table saw, panel saw, drill, impact driver, etc.) * Accurate measurement * Vinyl graphic installation experience * Team player * Knowledge of and experience in vinyl wrapping * Exceptional problem-solving skills * Plan adequately and complete tasks in a timely manner * Willingness to work overtime (if needed) * Personable and easy-going * Coherent and sober (we have a very strict drugs and alcohol policy) * Physically fit to perform installation duties and lift reasonably heavy objects with assistance of team members * Ability to follow direction If you believe you are a hardworking and creative individual who is capable of overcoming daily challenges, this position may be perfect for you! *To be considered, you must complete the assessment.* _*\*\*Please submit resume in PDF form\*\**_ Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Okotoks, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (require- LocationOkotoks, AB
