*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to operate various machinery and tools. This role involves fabricating and machining components according to precise specifications, ensuring high-quality production standards are met.
*Responsibilities*
* Operate CNC machines and manual lathes to produce precision parts.
* Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
* Utilize measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
* Program CNC machines for specific tasks, adjusting settings as necessary for optimal performance.
* Fabricate components using welding techniques when required.
* Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and product designs.
* Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
*Requirements*
* Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for design purposes is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining processes.
* Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is essential.
* Experience with lathe operations and welding techniques is a plus.
* Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation accurately.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies in the field.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
