Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Establish methods to meet work schedules. Establish work schedules. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Train or arrange for training. Oversee safety of operations. Supervision: 3-4 people. Fabric, fur and leather cutters. Inspectors and testers, fabric, fur and leather products manufacturing. Labourers in textile processing. Sewing machine operators. Textile dyeing and finishing machine operators. Textile fibre and yarn preparation machine operators. Textile inspectors, graders and samplers. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colours. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Manual dexterity. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
