*Job Summary* The Parts Clerk plays a vital role in the efficient operation of our parts department. This position involves managing inventory, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure that all parts and supplies are readily available for our dealership operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes, mechanical knowledge, and experience with data entry systems. *Responsibilities* * Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stock replenishment. * Procure parts and supplies as needed to meet operational demands. * Process incoming and outgoing parts orders efficiently. * Assist customers with inquiries regarding parts availability and specifications. * Utilize data entry systems to track inventory movements and sales transactions. * Collaborate with the supply chain team to forecast demand and manage stock levels effectively. * Operate a forklift safely to move parts within the warehouse as required. * Ensure the parts department is organized and clean, promoting a safe working environment. *Skills* * Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. * Strong customer service skills to assist clients effectively. * Familiarity with supply chain management principles and demand planning strategies. * Mechanical knowledge to understand parts specifications and functionality. * Experience in a dealership environment is preferred but not mandatory. * Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently is a plus. * Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
