Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Work setting: Construction. Installation. Residential. Tasks: Prepare production and other reports. Supervise workers and projects. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions. Operate CADD and other computer software systems. Estimate costs and materials. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Read blueprints and drawings. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Leading/instructing individuals. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Painters and decorators. Floor covering installers. Drywall installers and finishers. Kitchen cupboard and vanity installers. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CADD Course. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Safety glasses/goggles. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
