Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. Fit and join sheet metal parts. Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. CPR Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Dependability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
