*Job Title:* Early Childhood Educator *Location:* Mississauga, Ontario, Canada *Position Type:* Full-Time - RECE Preschool Classroom *About Us:* We are a dedicated early childhood education center committed to providing a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children. Our mission is to foster holistic growth and inspire a love for learning through play-based and inquiry-led experiences. *Job Summary:* We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children aged 0-6 years. *Key Responsibilities:* * Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning through play. * Foster a positive, supportive, and nurturing environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity. * Observe and assess children?s development and progress, documenting individual growth and tailoring activities to meet diverse needs. * Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a collaborative and inclusive community. * Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on children?s progress and involvement. * Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to licensing regulations and best practices. * Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training opportunities to stay current with early childhood education trends and regulations. * Support the implementation of policies and procedures that promote a positive and safe learning environment. *Qualifications:* * Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from an accredited institution. * Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators in Ontario. * Previous experience in a licensed childcare setting is an asset. * Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment. * First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). * Clear Vulnerable Sector check *What We Offer:* * Competitive salary * Supportive work environment with opportunities for professional development. * Access to resources and materials to enhance educational programming. * A chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and their families. *How to Apply:* Interested candidates are invited to submit a resume and cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience to kidtopia.mississauga@gmail.com.
