John Ross & Sons Ltd. is the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada and we are committed to exceeding our customer's expectations. We are currently seeking an energetic and safety minded Welder to join our ever expanding team in Goodwood! Previous experience (3+ years preferred). The worksite operates Monday through Saturday. Primary Responsibilities: - Operate semi-automatic welding equipment to weld metal segments using processes such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW), pre-heating, tack welding, and flame cutting - Torch cutting - Welding, fabrication, and repair of various equipment - Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment - Perform minor repairs to equipment - Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to proper manager - Maintain- LocationGoodwood, NS
