*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail. As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and maintaining upholstered furniture and other items. This role requires a blend of artistic talent and mechanical knowledge to ensure high-quality finishes and durability. *Duties* * Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, sew, and assemble upholstery materials. * Measure and cut fabric using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise fits. * Build frames and structures as needed for various upholstery projects. * Perform heavy lifting when moving materials or completed pieces within the warehouse. * Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards. * Conduct repairs on existing furniture, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in upholstery or related fields such as carpentry or machining is preferred. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively. * Familiarity with warehouse operations and the ability to perform heavy lifting as required. * Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during the upholstery process.
