*Job Summary ( SUNDAY- THURSDAY- FULL-TIME)*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients, and efficiently handling administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in electronic medical records and familiarity with medical terminology to support our clinical staff effectively.
*Responsibilities* but not limited too
* Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
* Manage phone systems to answer calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries.
* Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure patient information is up-to-date.
* Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance information.
* Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to facilitate smooth operations.
* Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
* Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and staff.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience as a receptionist in office is preferred.
* Familiarity with electronic medical records systems; experience with JANE APP is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing front desk operations.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
* Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the office.
* Proficient in using office equipment and phone systems to support daily operations.
* Ability to multitask in a _*fast-paced *_environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
