We are currently seeking a Receiver who can also assist with general warehouse duties.
*Overview:*
The Receiver role is an integral part the Cotton Candy Warehouse team, providing process management and leadership to ensure warehouse receiving operations are executed in a seamless and timely fashion. The Receiver will be responsible for all incoming shipment of goods, inventory management, and supporting the overall E Solutions business in product logistics and general operations.
*What are the Responsibilities?*
* Manage the receiving process of incoming shipments of goods, materials, and products from suppliers, carriers and internal departments
* Manage quality control of all incoming product ensuring accurate quantities and quality, and report any damages, discrepancies, or defects
* Complete production builds for bill of materials
* Label product and put away goods in bin locations
* Internal allocation of product to other departments where required
* Assist with space management of the warehouse including aisle layouts and skid storage
* Assist with pick, pack and shipping duties where necessary including delegation of temporary employees
* Inventory management, including updating of inventory records and stock levels based on received shipments and ensuring items are properly stored, organized, and labeled
* Investigation of inventory discrepancies and management of general inventory inquiries
* Liaise with management and internal departments to resolve any issues that may arise
* Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area, ensuring items are easy to locate and access
* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment when handling and storing goods
* Other duties as required
*What are we looking for?*
* 2+ years in a Receiving role
* Proficient in MS Office (excel, word) and Outlook.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Capable of decision making and problem solving, along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
* Familiar with barcoding and RF scanners
* Experience with inventory management
* Ability to work in a high-pressure atmosphere
* Familiarity with ShipStation and carrier specific shipping systems
* Experience with Spire would be considered an asset
* Excellent team player with a positive attitude and great initiative!
