DescriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in Urban or Regional Planning or a related degree Four (4) years of progressively responsible planning experience in the area of land development planning Asset: Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners Skills required for success: Knowledge of principles and practices of urban planning and development Ability to understand and interpret planning legislation, plans, policies, regulations and guidelines and apply these to land development applications using discretion and sound planning judgment Effective communication skills and an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), presentation and project management skills Knowledge of planning and development processes, the Municipal Government Act and relevant statutory plans, policies, procedures, and- LocationEdmonton, AB
