In developing competitive products for the global market, we are currently seeking an *Electrical / Controls Design Engineer* Mission: As an Electrical Design Engineer on our dynamic Engineering Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products and designs. Your mission is to drive innovation and excellence, whether creating groundbreaking products from scratch or enhancing existing ones. Your contributions will directly impact our success and empower you to be a key player in our growth story. The position responsibilities are: * Develop and maintain electrical designs per order requirements, * Create manufacturing plant drawings and B.O.M?s for our equipment in accordance with industry standards, government legislation and customer requirements, * Adhere to project schedules to meet product delivery requirements. * Assist Sales representatives in reviewing and determining electrical specifications at the quotation stage, * Assist in sourcing and selecting purchased components best suited for the application, * Program PLC?s, * Provide technical support to other departments and customers, * Travel to customer locations to assist in commissioning manufactured product or assist in on-site troubleshooting, * Be eligible to travel outside of Canada as many of our customers are outside of Canada. * Work within expected company standards regarding ethics, safety, quality, productivity, and environmental matters. The preferred candidate will have: * A degree/diploma in electrical engineering and have or working toward a recognized professional engineering designation, * experience in the design and programming of industrial control systems * Working knowledge of Hydraulic Systems and OT networks and previous experience using AutoCAD, Solidworks, and PLC software (ParkerIQAN / B&R). * A proven track record demonstrating the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team environment.
