*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws and collecting specimens from patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and therapy. *Duties* * Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures to collect blood samples from patients. * Ensure proper identification of patients and labeling of specimens to maintain accuracy. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. * Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns. * Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure timely processing of specimens. * Document all procedures accurately in accordance with medical standards and regulations. * Stay updated on medical terminology and laboratory practices to enhance patient care. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a laboratory or hospital setting is preferred. * Knowledge of medical terminology related to phlebotomy and patient care. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients. * Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols during blood collection procedures. * Certification in phlebotomy or relevant training is a plus.
