Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Odours. Work setting: Packaging company. Manufacturing and industrial plant. Tasks: Transport items throughout plant using powered equipment. Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually . Check and weigh materials and products. Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products. Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers. Perform other labouring and elemental activities. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Forklift Operator Certification. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Work under pressure. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Punctuality. Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Initiative. Reliability.
