Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Organic farming. Other grain farming. Other miscellaneous crop farming. Other vegetables and melon farming (except potato). Outdoors. Wet/damp. Dusty. Hot. All weather conditions. Dirty. Work setting: Staff accommodation provided. Room and board provided. Rural area. Remote location. Various locations. Tasks: Apply fertilizers. Apply the technique of hoeing between the row. Clean the crops. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Cut agricultural crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Greenhouse cleaning. Hand harvesting vegetables. Harvest seedlings. Pick row and orchard crops. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Sort fruits and vegetables. Tie and secure plants. Weeding. Clean work area. Harvest crops. Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Hand-eye co-ordination. Attention to detail.
