Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Tasks: Clean the crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Greenhouse cleaning. Hand harvesting vegetables. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Sort fruits and vegetables. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Clean work area. Harvest crops. Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Plant bulbs and seeds. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Cut horticultural crops. Type of crops: Vegetables.
