<div><p><span><span><span><b><span><span><span>Details of the position</span></span></span></b></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span><span>Job title:</span></span></span></span></span></p><p> Analyst - Contract Management and Procurement </p><p><span><span><span><span><span>School / Centre / Department :</span></span></span></span></span></p><p> Material Resources </p><p><span><span><span><span><span>Location :</span></span></span></span></span></p><p> Magog, Quebec </p><p><span><span><span><span><span>Workload :</span></span></span></span></span></p><p> 35 hours per week</p><p> Monday to Friday</p><p><span><span><span><span><span> Annual Salary :</span></span></span></span></span></p><p> $ 53 054 - $ 90 950 </p><p><span><span><span><span><span>Supervisor :</span></span></span></span></span></p><p> Director of Material Resources </p><p><span><span><span><b><span><span><span>Nature of the work </span></span></span></b></span></span></span></p><p>The job of Analyst in the Contract Management and Procurement sector is to ensure that calls for tender are compliant, and to provide support and advice to the school board's internal partners throughout the procurement and contract management process. </p><p>In this role, the analyst will be required to participate in the proper management of the procurement and contract management cycle, with the aim of ensuring optimal use of resources in compliance with the normative framework and internal policies of the school board. </p><p><span><span><span><b><span><span><span>Description of tasks</span></span></span></b></span></span></span></p><ul><li>Elaborate the definition of needs and the acquisition planning of establishments and services. </li><li>Plans, drafts and implements all acquisition processes by direct request for quotation, by mutual agreement or with purchasing groups. </li><li>Plans, drafts and implements all acquisition processes through calls for tender, including participating in the development of technical specifications. </li><li>Ensure compliance of procurement processes.</li><li>Carry out performance evaluations</li><li>Ensure contract management accountability.</li><li>Develop, implement and ensure the continuous improvement of work tools, controls, methods and performance indicators relating to the acquisition cycle, procurement strategies, contract management and compliance.</li><li>Participate in the development and/or updating of procurement and contract management rules and procedures.</li><li>Carry out the necessary analyses to meet the needs of the environment, and in particular, assess the needs in terms of procurement processes and identify potential sources of difficulties.</li><li>Collaborate in developing and/or implementing solutions to major problems or disputes with suppliers or facilities and services.</li><li>Advise and support management</li><li>May be called upon to plan, coordinate, distribute and supervise the work performed by support staff in relation to the mandates and responsibilities of his/her area of activity.</li><li>Any other related duties</li></ul><p><span><span><span><b><span><span><span>Desired profile</span></span></span></b></span></span></span></p><p><strong>Schooling</strong></p><p>A bachelor's degree in an appropriate specialty, notably in administration</p><p><strong>Other Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in procurement <ul><li>experience in procurement in the public sector would be an asset</li></ul></li><li>Good knowledge and understanding of the <em>Loi sur les contrats des organismes publics </em>and its regulations</li><li>Have a customer-oriented approach</li><li>Strong ability to concentrate, adapt and organize</li><li>Ability to manage priorities</li><li>Autonomy and excellent judgement</li><li>Integrity, rigor and sense of ethics</li><li>Excellent mastery of English and French (or
