And we live it too.</span></p><strong>THE ROLE</strong><p><span>A Skating Program Monitor within the PSP provides on ice supervision of public skating and customer service to skating participants and monitors and ensures established safety rules are followed and addresses unsafe/unacceptable behaviour, facility safety issues and conflicts.. In an emergency the Skating Program monitor provides emergency and/or first aid assistance if required, as well as assisting patrons with special needs if required.</span></p> <p><span>The Skating Program Monitor organizes equipment setup and take down and inspects equipment and advises the manager/supervisor of equipment malfunction and unsafe conditions and monitors the start and finish times of skating programs and collects and remits entrance fees from patrons in accordance with policies and procedures.</span></p> <p><span>The Skating Program Monitor maintains participant registration and program logs, collects and remits entrance fees from patrons, documents and communicates any incidents, accidents or damages and provides feedback to manages/supervisors and complies with NPF policies, procedures, regulations and applicable legislation as well as ensuring compliance with Health and Safety programs.
