Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders). Programs dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Programs dealing with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Rural area. Mental health institution, facility or clinic. Tasks: Prepare reports or case histories. Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs. Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community. Food preparation. Resolve conflict situations. Conduct individual and group counselling sessions. Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings. Offer mentoring. Supervision: Staff in various areas of responsibility. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment.
