Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Perform repair work on heavy trucks. Verify and repair emission control systems. Perform other routine maintenance. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Automotive Service Licence (310S). Security and safety: Criminal record check. Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Flexibility. Reliability. Team player. Organized.
