*Job description: *
Strategic Procurement Specialist responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the supply chain procurement process. This role involves managing purchasing processes, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services while adhering to organizational policies and budgetary constraints.
*Job responsibilities: *
1._*Procurement Process Management:*_ _Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery._
_Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and procedures._
2._*Supplier Relationship Management:*_ _Build and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers._
_Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings._
3._*Order Processing:*_ _Review and approve purchase orders created by team members._
_Ensure accuracy in order details, quantities, and specifications._
4._*Cost Negotiation:*_ _Assist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules._
_Collaborate with the procurement team to secure favorable agreements._
5._*Quality Assurance Support:*_ _Work with the quality control team to ensure that purchased items meet specified quality standards._
_Address and resolve quality issues with suppliers._
6._*Reporting and Analytics:*_ _Generate regular reports on purchasing activities, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs)._
7._*Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:*_ _Collaborate with other departments, including finance, production, and inventory management, to understand their procurement needs._
_Ensure effective communication and alignment of procurement activities with organizational objectives._
*Requirements: *
*Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or combination of equivalent related experience.*
* Proven experience in procurement, with at least some experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Strong understanding of procurement processes, negotiation techniques, and supply chain management.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in using software and data entry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
Experience:
* NetSuite: 2 years (preferred)
* Procurement: 3 years (required)
* Supplier management: 3 years (required)
