Our schools are teaching communities where principals, vice-principals, teachers and support staff nurture student well-being and challenge students to achieve their best.<p><p><p>We are seeking a creative, dynamic, committed professional to join our team: <p> Client Service Centre Support Assistant <p><p>Location: 133 Greenbank Road, In-Person<p>Nature of Position: 100% Regular, 12 month work year<p>Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week<p>Salary range: ESP Level 5: $47,736 to $59,467 per annum <p><p>Under the direction of the Team Lead, Client Services, the Client Services Assistant develops and maintains a working knowledge of supported computer applications and operating systems; responds to requests for information technology support, provides support on information technology to all Board Personnel; facilitates the effective usage of the Client Services ticket system; and provides other support functions such as installation of software, networking, laptop, tablets, smartphones, Chromebook and desktop workstation setups. <p> <p><p><p> <p> <p> <p> <p> Qualifications<p> <p> <p> <p><p><p><p> <p> Completion of a community college diploma in Computer Science, Technology or Business with a minimum of 1 year of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered<p> <p><p><p> <p> Experience using software such as HEAT, Remedy or similar help desk software; <p> <p> <p> Call Centre certification, MCSE, ITIL or Apple Macintosh experience.<p> <p> <p> Knowledge of relevant Board policies and operational procedures, hardware and peripherals, server management, operating systems back-up methods, network usage, software programs and desktop workstations.<p> <p> <p> Knowledge of hardware, communications and software concepts for a full range of computer configuration with specific expertise relating to Macintosh, Intel and online applications.<p> <p> <p> Technical skills to assist in the identification and evaluation of computer applications;<p> <p> <p> Writing skills for evaluation of programs, application and installation instructions;<p> <p> <p> Interpersonal and communication skills to exchange and clarify information, and respond to inquiries.<p> <p> <p> Keyboarding skills for data entry of instructions, software information and surveys;<p> <p> <p> Organization and time management skills to prioritize work and manage multiple priorities and concurrent demands;<p> <p> <p> Analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and solve computer software/hardware problems; <p> <p> <p> Initiative and judgement skills; and ability to learn new materials and technology without instruction; work independently, with minimal supervision.<p> <p><p> <p><p><p> <p> <p> <p> <p> Application Process<p> <p> <p> <p><p><p>Applications will be<p>considered in accordance with the ESP Collective Agreement, in the following<p>order: <p>1.
