Excited to be growing! At Authentic Living London, our aim is providing empathic grief counselling that understands that grief is a normal and natural component of the human experience. Authentic Living London is a privately own clinic that operates out of the Thompson Medical Center in London, ON. We provide both general psychotherapy and grief counselling. Approximately 75% of our clients seek us out for grief-related issues, including pet loss grief. We are seeking a part-time licensed psychotherapist who specializes in grief counselling. The position would be for an independent contractor. *Duties* - Provide individual therapy both in-person and virtually. Most of the appointments will be in-person. - Maintain professional standards that align with their regulatory college - Take part in promotional events such as meet & greets with drs and other potential referral sources (that are arranged by the clinic) *Requirements* - Masters level degree in counselling psychology, social work, or related field - Member in good standing with CRPO or OCSWSSW - Certification in grief counselling or thanatology - Ability to work both in-person and virtually -Demonstrate commitment to self-care - Ability to utilize empirically validated, trauma informed practices and other evidence-based treatment modalities. -Must possess Professional Liability Insurance or willingness to obtain insurance. - Desire and ability to run grief support groups considered an asset To apply, please send cover letter and resume to authenticlivinglondon@gmail.com Job Type: Part-time Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour Application question(s): * Do you have certification in grief counselling/thanatology? * Are you willing to work both virtually and in-person at 130 Thompson Rd, London, Ontario?
