*Foot Care Nurse * We are seeking a Part-time Foot Care Nurse for our Youville Diabetes Centre, on an ongoing contract basis for approximately 15-20 hours a week with the possibility of increasing hours as program expands. This contract position functions autonomously with the benefit of designated clinical space for foot care and administrative support for scheduling, billing and receiving appointments. Responsibilities include working within a dynamic multidisciplinary team with participants who may have diabetes or other chronic conditions as well as face multiple barriers to accessing services. Professional nursing practice emphasizes health promotion and health education. *QUALIFICATIONS:* * Certificate of Foot Care required * Nurse registered in good standing with their licensing body * Foot Care Course preferred * Experience working with individuals with diabetes and their families * Experience working in a Community Health Centre * Ability to work in a Collaborative Practice Model * Excellent interpersonal, organizational and team work skills * Demonstrated ability to practice from healing centered, trauma informed and culturally-safe perspectives * Bilingual (French/English speaking) preferred *Additional Requirements:* * Criminal record check required * Child and Adult abuse registry checks required * A valid driver?s license * Fluency in both French and English an asset _Youville Centre is committed to employment equity and eliminating barriers to employment for people who are underrepresented in Canada?s workforce including Indigenous peoples, people with disabilities, members of groups that commonly experience discrimination due to race, ancestry, colour, religion and/or spiritual beliefs, or place of origin; persons who identify as women and persons of marginalized sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.
