We provide paid training and will guide you through the process of becoming a professional school bus driver.
* _*We are currently looking for a permanent driver in the Emo/Barwick/Nestor Falls area, as well as casual/spare drivers in Emo, Devlin, Barwick, Nestor Falls, and Fort Frances, with the potential of turning into a permanent route, if so desired.*_
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus to transport passengers to their destinations
- Follow designated routes and schedules
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Ensure the bus is clean and well-maintained
- Monday ? Friday split-shift work
- Evenings and weekends, only if you choose to do so
Requirements:
- 21 years of age
- Pass a provincial medical
- Pass a criminal record check
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to write and communicate effectively
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the bus (checking oil, refilling washer fluid, fueling bus up, etc)
- Ability to educate passengers on bus safety procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
As a Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in providing safe and reliable transportation for students. Your responsibilities will include safely operating a school bus, ensuring passenger safety, and maintaining a clean working environment. You must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, be able to pass a criminal record check, and be able to work well with children. Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.25 ? 40 per week
