We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual with a strong passion for growth to join our expanding company. The primary responsibilities of this role will involve managing the essential accounting functions of the business. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to perform basic administrative management duties for the office and serve as an executive assistant to the owner.
The essential accounting functions of the business include processing invoices, handling payments, controlling inventory, reconciling bank accounts, submitting taxes and providing various reports. Additionally, the candidate will assist with various aspects of office management, such as maintaining supplies, greeting clients, organizing files and equipment, managing couriers and mail, answering phone calls, and ensuring the office remains organized and professional.
You'll be diving into the world of technician reports, assisting in processing them with finesse. Plus, you'll craft various insightful reports or reviews of data for the owner, ensuring every detail shines through.

This position involves interacting with employees, the owner, and clients, as well as handling paperwork that arrives at the office. Therefore, this role must be performed onsite, with no options for hybrid or remote work.
We believe that a great work environment is essential for our future team members. That's why we invite candidates to experience our office firsthand. All interviews take place face-to-face at our office in Surrey BC.
Some of your responsibilities will include driving on behalf of the company, such as trips to the bank, courier services, or picking up supplies. Therefore, all candidates must have a valid BC driving license, a fully insured vehicle and at least one year experience driving in Canada.
Mastery of the English language is paramount for this role, as clear and effective communication with clients, colleagues, and the proprietor is indispensable. The position also demands meticulous attention to detail when handling reports, documents, and correspondence?all necessitating strong English skills. During the interview process, candidates' linguistic and communicative dexterities will be rigorously evaluated. Only those who exhibit fluent English and exceptional communication acumen will advance in consideration for the position.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Oversee accounts payable and receivables, including managing overdue accounts and distributing statements.
