As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting with the time approval and payroll processes. The role of a Payroll Administrator provides the opportunity to make meaningful contribution to the Provincial Homecare team ensuring accurate and timely pay for our staff.
Duties for the Payroll Clerk include:
* Time approval and validation
* Processing accounts payable
* Processing invoices
* Assisting with the preparation of payroll
* Creating reports for management
* Other administrative tasks as required such as, creating records of employment, updating seniority lists, data entry and document management
About you
Your experience and attention to detail will ensure that our systems are accurate and kept up to date. You are reliable and communicate well with employee and clients regarding payroll and invoicing issues. You are motivated by seeing tasks through to completion with specific deadlines that allow you to be a key player on our team.
Additional Skills and Experience:
* Minimum of 1 year experience in an office environment, preferably with payroll experience
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to solve problems from an objective and consistent point of view
* Comfortable with documentation, both on paper and using technology
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Able to perform and prioritize multiple functions and tasks
* Experience with Simply Accounting/Sage 50 is an asset
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
* Good judgement and discretion with highly confidential information
* Clear Code of Conduct is required

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
