Canadian Tire Moose Jaw Service Department is looking for it's new leader! Currently recruiting for Service Manager. Remuneration is based on Industry experience, and demonstrated profitable sales track record!

Summary:
As a member of the store's Management Team, the Service Manager contributes to the success of the store by overseeing the daily operations of the automotive service department. Support staff daily operations and ensure efficient workflow. Communicating the business objectives of the store to their team. Responsible for managing and leading the department in providing high quality workmanship and service that ensures customer satisfaction. They ensures that the department team consistently meets performance expectations in terms of customer experience, sales growth, technical execution and profitability.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
* Participates in daily operations of the service department with the leadership of bridging the Service writers work order to the shop and then back to the customer.
* Setting sales goals, coaching, and follow up.
* Holds team members accountable for providing an excellent customer experience and recognizes those who excel in it.
* Leads by example and constantly controlling quality and time management of the shop.
* Implements and follows store policies and procedures that deliver a high-quality customer experience.
* Maintains quality department cleanliness and operation of equipment, through daily inspections and feedback from writers and technicians.
* Ensures department is appropriately staffed through effective planning and scheduling and according to store budget and customer needs.
* Plans and manages daily/weekly & seasonal changeovers and works with the team to execute them.
* Communicates and ensures compliance with company, store and department policies, as well as health and safety programs and regulations.
* Assists in selecting and orientating new employees, store opening and closing responsibilities.
* Coaches and encourages team members in learning new operational processes and procedures and new skills in order to improve performance. Regularly provides informal and constructive feedback.
* Addresses issues and conflicts in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* Strong leadership and commitment.
* Experience in a Automotive Service Roll.
* Knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
* Experience in retail sales, execution and operations.
* Good working knowledge of service products and functions.
* Demonstrated supervisory, leadership and/or managerial experience or relevant experience.
* Ability to operate software for Scheduling and Mitchell system for work orders & a cash register is an asset.
* Experience in a Canadian Tire store is considered an asset.
* Ability to serve customers in a professional manner and to inspire their confidence and trust.
* Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve common goals in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to motivate and coach others as well as provide feedback.
* Ability to plan, organize, delegate and follow up on team's activities and projects.
* Ability to multitask, adapt and cope with challenging situations.
Starting Wage / Salary: Open to negotiation
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
