Primary Responsibility : Reputed company from north America is looking for a full time Refrigeration Shift Operator - Class B (Ontario Certificate of Qualification) in good standing with TSSA for its London Ammonia facility. We an also accept a 3rd Class Operating Engineer with TSSA. What You'll Do : oOperate automated or computerized control systems. oEnsure daily inspection of the ammonia refrigeration plant that all systems are operating in a safe and expected manner oAbility to measure temperature, fuel flow and pressure. oRecord, analyze and enter equipment daily readings in Oracle system oTroubleshoot, perform corrective actions or minor repairs as required. oPerform routine equipment and batteries maintenance. oClean and lubricate machinery and components. oMaintain daily log of operation, maintenance, and safety activities. oReporting to Chief Engineer for day-to-day activities oWillingness to take on additional responsibilities as position requires oWorking knowledge of maintenance software, CMMS -Oracle oMaintain good housekeeping within the Engine Room What Experience and Education You Need : oGrade 12 Diploma with post secondary education is preferred oRefrigeration License Class B OR 3rd Class Operating Engineer (Ontario Certificate of Qualification in good standing with TSSA) oMinimum of 5-7 years experience in Ammonia Refrigeration Plant with A class rating oWorking knowledge of Food Safety (GMP, HACCP, AIB and SQF) and Ontario Regulatory bodies What Could Set You Apart :oAnalytical and judgment skills oProblem Solving oAttention to detail (rigor) oPriority Management oTeam Player and collaboration oCommunication skills oAutonomy, resourcefulness, and sense of initiative oReliabilityPhysical Requirements : The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
