*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive and *heavy duty equipment* repair and restoration, demonstrating expertise in repairing and refinishing vehicles to their original condition. The Auto Body Technician will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. *Duties* * Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs. * Perform bodywork, including welding, metal shaping, and panel replacement. * Remove and replace damaged parts, such as doors, hoods, and fenders. * Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and applying fillers as needed. * Operate painting equipment to apply finishes that meet quality standards. * Ensure that all repairs are completed in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to company policies and procedures. * Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of projects. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role. * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment related to auto body repair. * Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. * Experience working on heavy duty equipment is an asset * Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including repair manuals and schematics. * Knowledge of automotive paint systems and refinishing techniques is preferred. * Certification from a recognized automotive training program is a plus but not required. * Must possess a valid driver's license. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
