The role of the Medical Receptionist is crucial in ensuring a good flow of patients for this multidisciplinary clinic. Your work is part of the whole patient journey and part of them getting better. The medical receptionist must be professional , courteous, flexible and extremely well organised. The ability to multitask in a fast paced environment is a must in this type of work .

*Skills Required for position:*
* Previous experience working in a client/service industry.
* Desire to learn , work as a part of a dynamic team .
* Able to take initiative and bring positive attitude to the environment
* Able to work independently and as a team.
* Excellent attention to detail with the initiative to problem-solve.
* Flexibility to work different shifts, will vary between opening the clinic at 6:30am and the closing shifts can end at 8h30pm.
* Excellent time management in a fast-paced environment.
* Highly organised, and time management skills
* Fluent in written and spoken English. French is also preferred
* Experience using Google Suites and Microsoft Office (Google sheets/docs, Microsoft word/excel)
* Computer literacy. Proficiency Familiarity with operating systems, file management, and basic troubleshooting.
* Strong math skills
*Skills preferred for position:*
* Experience as a medical receptionist is an asset.
* Familiarity with physiotherapy, massage, chiro, acupuncture.
* Experience with Jane or other Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
* Familiarity with direct billing on the following provider portals: Medavie Blue cross, Sun Life, Telus Health, Providerconnect.
* Fluency in written and spoken French or any other language is an asset.

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
