Pediatric Urgent Care is the largest multi-site-muli-specialists outpatient pediatric organization in Ontario and is seeking a skilled and compassionate *Speech and Language Pathologist* to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for children with speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders. You will work alongside pediatricians, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Conduct *comprehensive assessments* of speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing abilities in children.
* Develop and implement *individualized treatment plans* to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
* Provide *early intervention* services for children with developmental delays, including speech sound disorders, language delays, and social communication difficulties.
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, including pediatricians, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to deliver integrated care.
* Offer *parent education and counseling* to support families in managing their child's communication and feeding challenges at home.
* Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
* Stay current with the latest research and advancements in speech and language pathology to provide evidence-based care.
* Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
* Contribute to public health initiatives and patient education programs focused on speech and language development.
*Qualifications*
* *Master?s degree* in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
* Licensed or eligible for licensure with the *College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)*.
* Experience working with children, particularly in *pediatric speech and language development*.
* Strong knowledge of *communication disorders*, *language delays*, and *feeding/swallowing disorders*.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining up-to-date knowledge in the field.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $99.00-$100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 ? 12 per week
