As a maki Chef we expect you *to know (or to learn)* how to: * Unroll cucumbers and cut them into juliennes * Portion fish (Salmon, Tuna, Hamachi, etc.) * Hand roll makis (Nori, Rice paper & Soy paper) * Cut your sushi using a Yanagiba & plate them * Clean your cooking station after every shift * Keep your fridge well organized with all item well covered and labeled As a person we expect you to: * Control your emotions as you will be working in an open kitchen * Be able to work in a high pressure environment * Be sober at work (Alcohol or any other substances) * Bring positivity and energy at work * Be a good & supportive team member * Speak french and/or english Be advised that we work under a collective agreement that *all the tips* are shared *equally* as long as every individual *contributes equally* to the general cleaning and well being of the restaurant at every shift.
