*Who we are looking for:*
The Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre is searching for a Sous Chef. The successful candidate will assist with overseeing the entire kitchen, which prepares meals for 20,000 sq feet of Banquet space as well as the 34 th Street Bar & Grill, a 200+ seat restaurant. This position will require the ability to take control of situations and adapt to regular interruptions. Time management and organizational skills are crucial. Only candidates that have a Culinary Arts Diploma or equivalent education, as well as two to five years of experience within the food service industry will be considered.

Candidate will attend professional development courses and workshops.
*Position Summary:*
Under the guidance of the Executive Chef, initiate and promote consistency and maintain high quality food services through the management of front-line and banquet & catering operations. Successful candidate must be able to take control in a fast-paced environment and provide related employee guidance with all food preparation. The Sous Chef will need to communicate effectively with the Banquet and Restaurant teams to provide high quality food service in both departments.

Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
