PROJECT COORDINATOR <p>Salary<p>Range - $83,347 - $104,178 per year<p>1.0 FTE Permanent<p>The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking qualified<p>applicants for the position of Project Coordinator, working out of the<p>Education Centre in Midhurst, Ontario. <p>Reporting to the Senior Manager of Design and Construction Services the<p>successful applicant will provide support and resource with respect to the<p>Boards Capital Building and Renewal programs. <p>Responsibilities include: construction<p>project plan development, preparation of cost estimates, coordination of<p>architectural and engineering contracted design services, preparation of<p>contract documents, contractor procurement and construction review, monitoring<p>the performance of consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with scope,<p>cost, schedule and quality objectives, and conformance to applicable codes and<p>regulations. This may include the need to attend and resolve emergency or<p>urgent situations outside of regular working hours. Qualifications: <p> <p>Three (3) year college diploma<p>in Architectural, Building, or Engineering Technology;<p> <p>Minimum of five (5) years<p>experience in all facets of building design and construction including<p>architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems.<p>Pertinent Skills and Experience: <p> <p>Thorough knowledge of the<p>design, construction, and operation of institutional building systems;<p> <p>Knowledge of current Building<p>and Fire Codes, Health and Safety Regulations;<p> <p>Knowledge of Project Management<p>Techniques;<p> <p>Effective planning, managing,<p>and scheduling of multiple projects;<p> <p>Excellent verbal, written, and<p>interpersonal skills;<p> <p>Proficient in computer<p>applications MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word), Acrobat, AutoCAD, Revit;<p> <p>The successful candidate must<p>possess a valid drivers licence and proof thereof will be requested on hiring;<p> <p>The nature of this position<p>will require the successful candidate to travel to SCDSB facilities throughout<p>Simcoe County, mileage will be reimbursed at the Board approved rate.<p>TESTING<p>MAY BE REQUIRED DURING THE SELECTION PROCESS. <p>This<p>is a full-time permanent position. The regular work year for this position is<p>twelve (12) months of the year. The compensation range for this twelve (12)<p>month position is $83,347 to $104,178 per year, depending on qualifications and<p>experience.
