Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Hospital or clinical pharmacy. Tasks: Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies. Check prescriptions for proper dosage. Maintain medication profiles of customers including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs. Manage the storage, packaging and distribution of medicinal products . Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians and other staff. Control the quality of drug products during production to ensure that they meet standards of potency, purity, uniformity, stability and safety. Evaluate labelling, packaging and advertising of drug products. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification. Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Security and safety: Immunization records. Criminal record check. Child Abuse Registry check. Eligible for professional liability insurance.
