Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: In/on water. Outdoors. Underwater. Wet/damp. Instructing. Work setting: Remote location. Rural area. Willing to relocate. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Diving. Tasks: Perform underwater inspection, search, salvage, repair and photography. Train or assist in the training of other workers. Supervise staff. Evaluate curriculum programs and recommend improvements. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Organize and maintain procedures for the keeping of records. Evaluate user feedback. Coordinate projects and programs. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Commercial diver's license. First Aid Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Underwater recording equipment. Area of specialization: Hydraulic. Underwater photography. Underwater survey. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colours. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Personal suitability: Accurate. Excellent oral communication. Organized. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently a student?.
