Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Underground. Confined spaces. Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Urban area. Various locations. High-rise building construction sites. Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units. Operate vibrating tables to settle concrete. Construct and install prefabricated masonry units. Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures. Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level. Type of materials: Concrete products. Equipment and machinery experience: Bobcats. Concrete vibrators. Concrete saws. Mortar and concrete mixers. Chippers. Jackhammers. Forklift. Hand tools. Cleaning experience: Brick and stone building exteriors. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Sidewalks and curbs. Underground and tunnel work. Poured concrete. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation.
