Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks: Advise clients on beauty care treatments. Maintain and order supplies. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Barbering Trade Certification. Hairstylist Trade Certification. Hairstyling Red Seal Certificate. Barber Licence. Hairstylist Licence. Hair styling techniques: Blow drying. Hair colouring techniques: Dyes/tints. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Manual dexterity.
